June 14,2019 – WGM represented the global mining industry while attending as
a delegate to the Planetary & Terrestrial Mining Sciences Symposium (“PTMSS”)
in Golden Colorado. This gathering brings together all the major players in the
space mining world including NASA, JPL, Kennedy Space Centre, ESA and many
other private industry and academia. WGM stressed the importance of
practical operational requirements such as maintenance cycles and modular
replacement part designs for equipment. We also championed the idea that
financial and economic requirements are just as important as technological
innovation in order to demonstrate why private capital markets should fund
